Planting for Winter

One doesn't usually think of winter as a particularly inspiring time of the year, but in many ways it is one of the best times to appreciate a garden and the landscape it sits within. We notice its structure and the more subtle colours and textures of evergreens barks and the quality of light. There is peace that comes with the dormancy of winter. A time to take stock and plan for the year ahead.
